HSMAI South Florida continued the awarding of its annual Dr. Peter Ricci Scholarship on the 2023 Annual GALA held on the Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood, Florida on October 30, 2023. Professor Greg Bohan, Teacher within the Hospitality and Tourism Administration Program at Florida Atlantic College (FAU), accompanied by Karima Lanfranco, Hospitality Administration Professor and Program Coordinator at Lynn College took to the stage to current checks to a few college students: Lauren Dwen (Lynn), Ariana Bukovac (FAU) and Aiden Lake (FAU).
This scholarship fund, created by HSMAI South Florida former president Carmen Ackerman, was designed to supply academic funds for college kids pursuing levels at both undergraduate or graduate ranges in hospitality, tourism, or culinary throughout South Florida’s varied establishments of upper studying.
